So I mentioned in my first entry that I placed a large order with Vikki Clayton's Hand Dyed Fibers to restock the colors for my Book of Ink Circles project. They're lovely threads to work with. She has two types, regular and premium, in a LOT of colors. They come either in skeins or in the cute little mini spools you can see on top of the linen. You can convert all of the DMC colors and quite a few of the overdyed threads. She's also moved into linen but mostly the higher count linens that I don't work in all that often. Her forum is a nice collection of stitchers.

She also has a nifty points system. You earn points by participating in the forums. If you've gotten enough, you can snag goodies like her mystery spools. Those are usually odd dyes or leftover spools. She also includes "carrots" in her ordering system, so if you order X amount, you can add a detritus-bag or extra spools for a little extra. D-bags are skeins of misdyed/odd labels/oddments. Lots of cool colors, but they're not necessarily what the actual color was. She switched from a skein label to those hang tags.
